Description

Divided into thirty chapters, each is devoted to a famous woman in New England 's history and their respective home-museums. Women's Home-Museums of the Northeast is a guidebook for those interested in visiting these storied addresses. The chapters provide encapsulated biographies as well as information regarding their residences. Historic homes serve as three-dimensional diaries where the former chatelaines of the manors yet hover. The chapters conclude with nearby attractions, as well as specifics such as parking, the cost of admission, hours of operation, and so forth.
