Wor Peter and Wor Percy & The Great War Adventure. Ridley's had enough of great adventures. The last one nearly cost him his life. Now he never ventures far from the safety of his rock on Lord Ridley's Blagdon Estate. So when his friend, Percy the stallion, declares he's going on an adventure, Ridley is horrified. Reluctantly he travels a little way with Percy to wave him a fond farewell, but then fate deals the cat a cruel blow. To the men of the Northumberland Hussars, Ridley has become their lucky mascot. They rename him Peter-the-Rock, determined that he'll travel with them all the way. The adventure turns out to be a war, bloody and terrifying. Men find the courage they never knew they had as they fight to protect the ones they love. Peter realizes, to save his friend Percy and bring them both safely home, it's time for a cowardly cat to find the courage he thought he'd lost forever.

Writer and Storyteller D. B. Court is always on the trail of an intriguing story. Working in BBC Radio Drama taught her the value of each word, well chosen, and a pause, well placed. Wishing to share her love of stories, she created The Bare Bones Story Walk, a game that can teach children and adults the four crucial ingredients of a great tale, while at the same time inspiring them to have fun creating their own stories. Like a vampire, once invited in, she will happily turn up at your school, workplace or home, ready to mastermind a writing, drama or storytelling workshop. And now that Peter and Percy are safely home from The Great War, D.B. Court has been lured down another dark trail involving two children, survivors of the Crow Tribe, fighting for their lives against a most greedy and unnatural enemy. Blinkin' Imp is otherwise known as Lizzie Carins. Lizzie began working as a textile designer in Winchester and In 2011 she moved to Vancouver, Canada where her small screen printing adventure began. Her hand made and screen print limited edition artworks, stationary and one of a kind accessories proved popular. She is now back in her hometown, Morpeth, Northumberland in the UK. Her company, named Blinkin'Imp, designs works mostly inspired by the local area and her love of Northumberland. She works on private commissions, and, various companies have used her designs in their merchandise, many of which can be found in our famous High Street stores and abroad. Danny Nanos of Fairhavens Design is a creative director and book designer living in Gateshead, England, with his wife, the illustrator, Anne Yvonne Gilbert. A native of Toronto, Canada, he has been working since 1985 in publishing, international corporate branding and product development, as well as in film, environmental and architectural design. He has worked with some of the world's most exclusive brands, including Air Canada, Coca-Cola, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, Kodak, Land Rover, Porsche, Toyota and Viacom. And has won many prestigious industry awards internationally.
