"Look, the title of this is a little misleading. It does work for a bookshelf as long as the books are a standard size novel because the shelves aren’t that deep. I have a lot of bigger reference books and they’re all sticky-outy and it just looks all messy. But it holds them and it’s fine. It wants to be secured to a wall, but of course, as a renter I can’t do that. It’s therefore quite dangerous because it will tip over if it’s loaded too top heavily. It still feels rather precarious, and I wouldn’t want to bump into it. I’ve put my heavy stuff on the bottom and it holds them and it’s fine. The build takes a bit of time, and because the back panel has to be nailed on I don’t look forward to having to move apartments any time soon. But it holds my stuff and it’s fine."
Member"Be careful if you follow the instructions for putting on the back board as it won’t take the weight and will break. Stand it up and tape the back on before you nail them on. Besides that looks great"
