These modules are a complete regulated power supply and battery charger in one compact package. With the appropriate transformer they can be configured to deliver either 6V, 12V or 24V DC. Voltage selection is via an on board DIP switch. Both models incorporate in built short circuit protection and LED power status indicator. Ideal for systems requiring battery backup in the event of a mains failure. Under normal mains conditions the module would power the connected load and charge the battery. With mains failure, the load is powered from the battery. Very useful in alarm and security applications, access control, fire alarm systems etc.
