The Redback® A 4958 is a compact, professional-grade pre-amplifier designed for versatility and reliability. It accepts both XLR and RCA inputs and provides a volume-adjustable XLR or RCA output, with RCA signals internally mixed to mono. Input and output sensitivities can be easily switched between 100mV and 1V to accommodate a wide range of audio sources, while phantom power (15V DC) is available for microphones connected via the XLR input. Output volume is finely adjusted using the front-mounted trimpot, and the unit operates on 24V DC supplied by the included plugpack. Built for convenience, the A 4958 is an ideal solution wherever clean audio with adjustable pre-amplification is required.
