Widely acclaimed Australian singer songwriter returns with her 4th official studio album. After a Time was recorded, mixed and coproduced by Tim Kevin Youth Group, The Singing Skies at his Tempe River Studios in Sydney. Throsby wrote all the songs, played various instruments and coproduced the album. She was joined in the studio by an eclectic band, including Mick Turner Dirty Three, Cat Power on guitar, Bree van Reyk Paul Kelly, Seeker Lover Keeper on drums, and Marcus Whale Collarbones, BV on saxophone. Guest vocals on 'What Do You Say?' were provided by iconic American musician Mark Kozelek Sun Kil Moon, Red House Painters. Long time collaborators, Joseph Leonard and Jens Birchall, played bass and cello respectively.
