As penance for their crimes, the Ambassador makes Glixor and his fellow inmates translate and dub human movies for the Ulaxans back home. As prisons go, it could be worse. He’s got a viewing cavern, his VCR, his TV and his friends, and plenty of fish.
However, Glixor can’t stop fantasizing about busting out of the embassy one day. He wants to swim in the open water. Meet a human. Eat popcorn. Maybe even go to the movies for real.
