The fight against the fire mages has intensified, leaving a trail of burned houses and missing people. Elice, now in charge of building her own special battalion, embarks on a journey across the kingdom to recruit mages for her army.

She thought having to deal with Andre and James’s arguing was rough, but that was nothing compared to the threat of facing down a fireball aimed straight at her face. When the fire mages attack in broad daylight, her team is forced to split up, leaving James behind in Talin.

Now on the run in the middle of the desert with Andre and Vic, who are growing a lot closer than before, she must decide between abandoning the man she’s falling for or risk her mission.

Army of Mages is the final book of Elice, the Great, a young adult fantasy series that retells the classic fairytale Rapunzel, with slow-burn romance, diverse characters, and themes of coming-of-age, self-discovery, and identity.

Jennifer Roachford is a wife and mom of five beautiful children. She became an author so she could chase after her lifelong love of books. Her passion for storytelling comes to life through her diverse fantasy novels. As an Afro-Latina, she strives to promote diversity in every book she writes. She enjoys baking, coffee, sleeping in (when her children let her), and snow days. When she isn’t working on her novel or editing someone else’s manuscript, she is homeschooling her children and watching them grow up.
