Author Biography
Author Lynn Araujo has been a writer and editor at U.S. Games Systems since 2004. She is the creator and author of award-winning decks including Pastoral Tarot, Botanical Dreams Oracle, and Angel Connections Message Cards. She also researched and co-authored The Artwork and Times of Pamela Colman Smith with Stuart Kaplan.
Artist Pierre-Joseph Redouté was hired by Marie Antoinette to decorate the walls of her chateau and by Empress Joséphine to paint the flowers in her magnificent garden at the Château de Malmaison. By the late 1790s, Redouté had become the most famous and sought after flower painter in all of Europe. His timeless art is still popular today.
