Carnival Prey

Originally published in the collection Twisted Tales of Halloween Horror: Carnival of Carnage (brought to you by the Sisterhood of the Black Pen), Carnival Prey is now available to read solo. Mamie has the perfect life. She gets to adventure with her partner, River, all around the world while entertaining the masses with their traveling carnival. Today is their one year anniversary and Mamie is CERTAIN that River is going to propose. But, instead of a ring, River pulls out a journal, encouraging Mamie to read it. Quickly, she realizes that the journal is her own, and it tells a different story of their relationship than what she remembers.
This new version paints a crimson beginning; one of betrayal, lost friendships, and death.
