Israeli-born Yair David is the author of six books. A former member of Kibbutz Gvaram, Yair served as a fighter in the Paratroopers Reconnaissance Unit and as a commander of an anti-tank missile team. In the Israeli Air Force, he was among the first navigators of the F-4 Phantom and F-15 Eagle.
With extensive operational experience, Yair has ejected from his plane twice in enemy territory-and both times, he escaped capture. Academically accomplished, Yair is an aeronautical engineer, jurist, and holds a doctorate in philosophy. For one of his initiatives, he was awarded the Israel Defense Prize
