Corsica's Gr20

I set out from Calenzana with little more than a backpack, a stubborn will, and a dream: to walk the length of Corsica on the GR20, the trail known as Europe’s toughest long-distance route. What I found was not only a path across jagged ridges and endless valleys, but a journey into exhaustion, resilience, and discovery.
The GR20 is unforgiving. It offers blistering climbs, merciless descents, storms that tear across the mountains without warning, and heat that suffocates in the forests of the south. Yet within its brutality lies beauty: dawns on ridges that stretch to the sea, camaraderie shared in crowded refuges, the taste of cold water after hours of ascent.
