Author Biography

Mirna L. Hasbun was born in Honduras in 1958 and worked as a civil engineer for 40 years. Her primary interests were the Humanities, Philosophy, and the Arts, and during all those years, she sought “Wisdom” and the path to achieving “True Happiness.” Already a wife, mother, and grandmother, she felt a deep desire in her heart to be truly herself and do something that would bring joy to her life. Therefore, she wrote and published the five adventures of the kind and cheerful caterpillar Cristal in search of the “Treasure of True Happiness,” sharing the attitudes she discovered contribute to greater happiness.She conveyed this in a simple, fun way and with colorful illustrations to capture children’s attention and teach them how to be happier from a young age.With much love and joy, she dedicates these stories to the “Inner Child” in every one, regardless of age, inviting them to allow themselves to be playful, enjoy the privilege of life, dare to follow their dreams, and discover in the process who they truly are.
