In 1947, Maurice Goodwin retrofitted a London ambulance for an epic journey spanning Europe and the Mediterranean to reach Cairo, where he travelled along the Nile River, eventually driving the battered ambulance across the entire continent of Africa, arriving in Cape Town, South Africa, finding love and starting a family of his own.
The world is certainly not the same as in 1947, and 78 years later, in 2025, I’ve finally embarked on my journey, working to uncover the truths of my grandfather’s heroic adventure, visiting the regions that influenced him most, and understanding how our life stories parallel one another’s. We’re entangled pairs, connected regardless of time and space. This is his story, and my story.

Your warranty will cover any manufacturing defects which, if existing, will present themselves within this warranty period.
Your warranty will not cover normal wear and tear, faults caused by misuse, and accidents which cause damage or theft caused after delivery. Using the product in a way it is not designed for will void your warranty.
