James McDowell is Executive Director of the Cybercrime Research Institute and an Adjunct Professor of Cybersecurity and Cybercrime in the USA. He is a cyberpsychologist and a leader in cybercrime investigations. His insights have illuminated the intricate relationships between human behavior and cybercrime, making him a sought-after expert in the field. Dr. McDowell previously served as the Chief of Cyber Operations for a state law enforcement agency in the USA where he led the cybercrime investigative program, several multi-jurisdictional investigations, and numerous cyber-enabled fraud task forces and working groups.
