The Gospel of Mark Part 1 is the first of the five Gospel of Matthew lesson collections. It contains eleven lessons that cover the first seven chapters of the gospel. Topics addressed in those lessons include the Temptation of Jesus, John the Baptist, the Choosing of the Disciples, eating with Publicans and sinners, and ordaining the disciples as apostles. Miracles of Jesus addressed include healing a leper, a healing a man with palsy, and many healings by the Sea of Galilee. Additionally, Jesus taught on the nature of the Sabbath, and that a house divided against itself cannot stand.
