Home to Pickleberry

Naomi Novak left her hometown so long ago that it was easy to forget. The problem is, she can’t seem to scrape up any clear memories of the town or her time living there.

Nestled near dense forest, Pickleberry is a quiet town with a strong community. Far enough removed from the populous, it offers a peaceful sanctuary even for the living dead. Usually, the dead tend to mind their own business, but something more sinister threatens the town’s existence and, more importantly, the investments of The Den.

Inspired by the enchanting folklore of the Ozarks, Home to Pickleberry follows Naomi’s homecoming. Although purely coincidental, her bosses at The Den find her timing perfect. She is tasked with solving a series of murders that occur in the sleepy town. Being a shadow-bending demon hybrid doesn’t seem to help as she has to rely on the locals to uncover the secrets of Pickleberry and solve the murders.

Author Biography

B. C. Dombrosky hopes to one day achieve the title of “Jack of all Trades”. Until then, she’ll pick up any hobby that crosses her path and write down the endless stories that float around her noggin.Her short stories have been published in anthologies, and her plays have been performed in Chicago. Now, she presents her debut novel, “Home to Pickleberry”.She lives in Missouri with her kid, cats, and other critters. She spends her time making art with her monster and hunting for Justin Herbert base cards.
