Kristen Smith grew up on a cattle and crop farm in southwest, Iowa. Her passion for storytelling is evident in her work and she’s always had a soft spot for reading to classrooms full of eager students. It was in those moments that the seed for this story was planted and now it has blossomed into the book you’ve just read. Her favorite food at Thanksgiving is pumpkin pie with extra whipped cream (obviously).In her free time, you will find Kristen with her corgi, Toby, or spending time with the ones she loves. Katie Mauch is a designer, artist and cattle rancher from western South Dakota.
