Everyone wants to be on Regina Cram’s Christmas-card list. That’s because her family’s cards are unlike any other. Each year, Cram tells a story about something that happened in their lives that year; young family members (children or grandchildren) provide illustrations. These are not the Suzy-goes-to-Harvard-Johnny-is-a-Rhodes-Scholar sort of thing; these are everyday stories about everyday people living everyday lives. There’s the story of her mother’s awful driving, and one about a painful struggle with mental illness, and another featuring a kindergartner who would not stop singing in school. Sometimes hilarious, often thought provoking, Regina Cram shares her family and her faith through years’ worth of Christmas cards.

Author Biography

Regina Cram is an award-winning writer and newspaper columnist. For 20 years she wrote the popular “Everyday Holiness” column in The Catholic Transcript. Her work has appeared in Chicken Soup for the Soul: Life Lessons for Women and Blow-Drying the Frog & Other Parenting Adventures, as well as the internationally syndicated teen column, “Coming of Age.” A popular speaker, Regina served for many years on the Speakers Bureau of the American Red Cross. In her spare time, she enjoys eating hot-fudge sauce and holding babies. Regina and her husband make their home in Connecticut.
