Author Biography
Allison Fennema is a middle school Science and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) teacher who loves uncovering Earth’s mysteries and connecting them to the places we walk everyday. She holds a Master of Science in Hydrogeology from the University of Nevada, Reno, and a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Sonoma State University. Her greatest joy is helping students discover how every mountain, stream, and pebble tells a bigger story about our world. Scott Fennema, Ph.D., is a working hydrologist who helps manage and protect our precious water resources. He holds a Doctorate in Water Resource Engineering and Science from the University of Idaho, along with degrees in Hydrology and Ecohydrology from the University of Nevada, Reno. Scott has spent years studying how to care for the waters that shape our world.
