This publication offers land claims recorded in East Florida during the year 1826, sourced directly from the records of the House of Representatives. The author begins with a table of the names of present and original claimants, date of the title, date of the survey, quantity of land, name of surveyor, area situated, and other additional details. Following the tables, different types of land claims have been compiled, including memorialist claims, claims decreed by the board, surveys, petitions made to the governor for land, and more. A few plats enhance the text, and a full-name and place index is used to conclude this work.
