Born in 1928, Arthur Pike’s life has been one of adventure, resilience, and deep family bonds. Arthur Pike was born in 1928 and raised across Tahiti and Tasmania’s remote islands. A lifelong fisherman, boatbuilder, and father of ten, Arthur’s life has been defined by resilience, hard work, and deep family bonds. Drawing from nearly a century of lived experience, his memoir Lessons Learned captures the spirit of a man shaped by the sea, the land, and the love of those around him. Now in his nineties, Arthur continues to share his stories and the wisdom they carry with future generations.
