Author Biography
The author Ray Parkes, in younger days, in addition to being a poet and songwriter, worked for magazines as a model. He was also an actor with many speaking parts on both the BBC and ITV networks. In addition, he played a typical Englishman for a commercial in Paris and played Henry VIII for a stage company in the USA. His theatrical agency was based in Birmingham. It was called the Pat Parkes (no relation) Agency and is remembered with affection.
