This book is the culmination of my human experience. It is always an ongoing story, and it continues to write itself every single day. Who I am is in these pages, and it was written for the purpose of reaching as far as I can to a place of self-understanding and acknowledgment. Personified vulnerability and truth in everything I am and everything I have done, the good and the bad alike. I look outside in to lay out my journey as a young man going through life from my teen years to today as a man in his mid-twenties and use my experiences to share the lessons I have learned along the way. It is direct, it’s complex, it can be abstract, and it preserves its original wordage so that any readers can see the shift over time of someone who is at the mercy of the human experience. It was written for me yet I pray it connects to you, may you look into my eyes and see the life I have shaped as I have lived it.
