Lora Brand is a lover of life, in all its seasons, who seeks intention in her actions and mindsets while helping those in the community do the same. Lora’s openness to hearing others’ stories and reflecting deeply has led her to capture profound reflections through the process of writing.In earlier years, as a stay-at-home mum and wife, Lora was able to commit time to engage in her community through various volunteer roles, including working with people experiencing homelessness. She continues her steadfast work in the community with specific interest in pastoral care, drug and alcohol rehabilitation, mental health, and youth and welfare.Lora has also been in various leadership roles, guiding youth and women’s connect groups. Through walking alongside others, and everything Lora has navigated herself, her journey as an author was awakened with her insights, poetry and stories. When not surrounded by her wonderful grandchildren, Lora is likely to be visiting one of the beautiful beaches near her residence in regional Queensland where Lora loves to write and inspire others in this journey of life.
