Memoirs from the Dark Tides is a work of autofiction. It is embellished and based loosely on actual events. The main character gives you his perspective, with the reader to decide whether he’s the protagonist or if he fully transforms into an antagonistic type role within the story. This work is quite obscure in many ways, as it is also esoteric. My goal as the author was to deliberately leave the protagonist nameless, so the reader can put themselves inside his mind and think of themselves through the scenarios that unravel within this journey.
