Everyone has a story of how God acts in their lives“What’s your name?” the temple visitor asked.
“Ballava Candra Dāsa,” I replied. “It means ‘Servant of God.’”
“Beautiful! Did your parents choose that name?”
“No, my spiritual teacher gave it to me.”
She glanced at her partner and smiled.
“So, how did you start coming to this temple?” he inquired.
“Well,” I said, “it would take a whole book to explain how I found Krishna consciousness. God has given me a lot of mercy, like the moon lighting a path through the night.”
The couple exchanged a knowing smile, as if they shared an inside understanding. Everyone has their own story of how God works in their life.
