On Friday evening, everyone will head out to the local mountain lodge for the Dog Days of Summer dinner and night hike, and on Saturday night, it’ll be time for the Harvest Moon street dance-where a very special proposal is planned.
Alice’s helper at the bookstore, Lacie, doesn’t know it yet, but her longtime boyfriend Zack is planning to ask her to marry him at the dance. But when Zack’s ex comes to town and a murder is discovered, there’s some serious trouble in paradise.
