This year, the faire is under new ownership, and is better than ever, with a fantasy vibe that features fairies and trolls, dragons and wizards, goblins and imps galore.The Faire isn’t the only exciting thing happening in town this spring. A famous jeweled necklace, known as the Scarlet Lady, is making a stop at the Blue Valley Heritage Museum. The necklace-steeped in local history and lore-boasts a huge white diamond set in rubies. The whole town is abuzz and is waiting breathlessly to view the necklace, but the same day it arrives, it disappears.A body is found near the museum, and Alice and her friends find themselves wondering if the murder and the robbery are connected. When Little John confesses that he’s been noticing a string of thefts in other towns the faire has visited-and with Luke and Ben out of town on business-it’ll be up to Alice, Owen, and Franny to find out if someone connected with the faire is a thief…and a murderer.
