Obeying the Gospel

Obeying the Gospel explores the history of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints during the 19th Century, and its earliest foreign missions, that sustained its existence against religious persecution in America. It highlights the preparation of the early Apostles who traveled across borders and oceans to bring new blood into the membership of the Church through its most trying and difficult times. Physical sacrifice and endurance against political and religious persecution were the challenges overcome by obeying the Gospel.

Author Biography

Randall Dean Mundy was born and Raised in Topeka Kansas, USA. He Served a two-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from 1971 — 1973 in Guatemala and El Salvador. His university studies covered the things which interested him most: Philosophy and Romance Languages at the University of Kansas; Music Theory at Cerritos College (Cerritos, California): Art, Psychology and History (BA, with honors, at Washburn University, Topeka, Kansas); Occupational Safety and Health (MS at Columbia Southern University). As a musician/songwriter under the stage-name, Randy Mundy, he performed his music in Latin America, the American Midwest, LA, California, Nashville Tennessee, Utah and on stage and screen, and produced a dozen albums of his own songs. As a sculptor, he has sculpted numerous busts of historical and religious figures. As an actor, he has performed on stage and screen. As a writer, he has been published numerous times in magazines and opinion pieces of his own online platform.
