Connor Hoover enjoys exploring spooky houses-though only the kind with cobwebs and creaky stairs, not the kind with jump scares (those are terrifying). She has never actually seen a ghost…unless you count the shadowy shapes that creep across the walls at midnight. Connor lives in Austin, Texas with two giant tortoises, two dogs who bravely chase away any phantom visitors, and a permanent adventure partner who makes every day feel like a quest. (Tricia) Hoover (aka Connor Hoover) wanted to be a Jedi, but when that didn’t work out, she became an electrical engineer instead. After a fifteen year bout designing computer chips for a living, P.
