Shelley Mitchell wrote Pink with Envy out of her love for the little marsupials. She has been collecting koala bear trinkets and stuffed animals since she was nine. She noticed in her collection of over 100 koala bear items there was a small stuffed pink koala bear among the grey ones, and thus Pink with Envy was born.
The bonus book The Kindergarten Koala is included to incite young ones to read as early as possible. It describes all the fun times they can enjoy starting school.
Author Biography
Shelley Mitchell was born in Paola, Ks. Her parents moved her to North Central Missouri when she was 10 to Windsor, Mo where she grew up.She began collecting Koala Bear trinkets and stuffed animals at the age of 9 and it grew into a long and great love of the little marsupials. She now lives in Cabool, Mo with her husband Mark. They have six children between them, thirteen grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
