There are several differing views on the origin of the Rosary but many scholars have been able to trace it back to the practice of using a knotted prayer rope by the Desert Fathers in the 3rd and early 4th centuries.
Our goal in this book is to help fellow Christian Brothers and Sisters pray without ceasing and come into a greater understanding of God’s grace by praying and meditating on the Gospels and life of Jesus. Our hope is that through praying the Rosary daily and reflecting on the truths of God’s Word, we might see a change in our lives and use it as a springboard to motivate us towards change. God’s Word should permeate our entire being.
