I’ve survived a lot in my time-vacuum cleaners, Roombas, Gran’s driving-but nothing prepared me for what I found in my backyard: an inflatable pool. Filled with water.

Odelia, in her infinite wisdom, had decided to teach us how to swim. Because clearly, what every self-respecting cat needs is a near-drowning experience.

As if that wasn’t traumatic enough…
A rage-fueled pigeon decided I was his personal enemy.
A twenty-year-old mystery resurfaced-along with a murder victim who looked exactly like a missing woman (but hadn’t aged a day?!).
Strange messages hidden inside a goatherd figurine led us deeper into the case.
And, oh yeah… I suffered a highly embarrassing grooming mishap, leaving me with a bald patch no cat should have to endure.

With a cold case heating up, a bird dive-bombing me at every turn, and Odelia dragging me into yet another life-threatening scenario, I was barely keeping my head above water-literally.
