Bertrand Fote is an emergency physician with more than two decades of experience saving lives in high-pressure situations. He holds a medical degree from Howard University and an MBA from Auburn University. Known as “The Singing Doctor” by his patients, Fote believes in the healing power of music and often sings to comfort those under his care.His unique perspective on life-and-death situations, coupled with his deep understanding of human nature, fuels his passion for writing gripping, suspenseful stories. Shadows of Deception is his debut crime thriller, where the boundaries between good and evil blur in a web of intrigue and danger.When not writing or practicing medicine, he enjoys playing soccer, traveling the world, and exploring new cultures. He lives in North Carolina with his wife, Laura.
