The first day (“Ignite the Story”) focuses on awakening your core theme, clarifying your narrative voice, understanding your ideal reader, crafting your Big Idea and Soul Sentence, and starting your opening lines. It ends with a closing ritual to reflect and set intentions for the next day. The second day (“Returning to the Heart”) deepens your connection to your intuition and true voice, guides you through writing the first lines and pages organically, naming your novel, and offering your first pages a blessing.
To assist the creative process, Lisa Wetton guides meditations to enhance the connection to your imagination and support the flow of your words onto the page. Short visualizations created specifically to guide you at each stage of your writing. These short mindfulness exercises are designed to encourage you to delve deeper into your story with calm clarity from a state of presence and inner stillness.
Additionally, once you complete the “Book Profile Worksheet,” which helps clarify your novel’s framework and core message, you are invited to submit it to the authors for thoughtful suggestions and constructive feedback. This personal review supports and enriches your writing process, emphasizing the community and guidance aspects of the Soul to Pages approach. This supportive element is designed to nurture the momentum for your novel-writing journey.
