When the Covid pandemic hit in 2020 I was, like so many other people, faced with a sudden lack of my usual activities. No meetings, outings, no music practice with my friends. What was I to do? Cleaning up, cleaning out! So I started to clean out the drawers of my desk. I found a number of stories that had been manually typewritten, but never entered into the computer. The ones I finally wrote on a computer and had been saved as files, would have been lost in several computer crashes, if I had not been lucky to have hard copies. I also went through the “virtual drawers” in my computer. There are a number of stories that had never found a “home” in any of my other story collections, plus some very recent pieces, closing with a piece on “Life in Dreams”.
