Author Biography
Cedric Brown is the author of “Eyes of Water of Water & Stone: From Havana with Love,” “Tar Heel Born: A Native Son Speaks on Race, Religion, & Reconciliation,” and “You Are Everything: 10 Starter Stories.” His work has also been included in the anthologies “Blacktino Queer Performance” and “The Road Before Us: 100 Black Gay Poets.” Brown is the founder of the Jacobs/Jones African American Literary Prize, sponsored by the North Carolina Writers Network, and co-founder of the Randall Kenan Prize for Black Ficton, sponsored by Lambda Literary. He lives in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, USA.
