Author Biography

Kate Mastellone is a mother of three, wife, and preschool teacher with degrees from Georgetown University and Fordham University, Graduate School of Education. A longtime summer resident of Nantucket, she and her family plan to make the island their full-time home. In 2020, after facing a number of personal and global hardships-including her father’s terminal diagnosis-Kate found healing and positivity through the daily practice of gratitude. What began as a personal lifeline soon transformed her family and students, inspiring her Thank You series. Kate’s work encourages children and families to practice gratitude daily, offering light and resilience even during life’s hardest seasons.
