Jefferey Lemire Sr. is a grandfather, avid kayaker, and passionate fisherman. He is a graduate of Jordan College in Cedar Springs, Michigan, and a former US Navy veteran. Jefferey has lived in both Spain and Mexico and has worked in various capacities, including as a pastor, teacher, missionary, and insurance claims adjuster. He currently resides in Six Lakes, Michigan, with his wife and their dog named Max.
