The Catholic Cemetery and Growing Up Memories Part III. Select Abilene Businesses and Victorians, Memories Part IV. Farming. Memories and Changes The author borrows at times from his book “The Farm,” Trafford Publishing, 2010. Although this book includes small vignettes of Abilene History, persons, places and events, its essence is Curran’s recollection of growing up in the 1940s and 1950s.
