We live in a wounded time, where suffering spreads like a wave, crossing peoples, lands, and consciousness.
I wrote this book to share what I have lived: the realization that peace is not something we are given, but something we reach.
It is born in the moment when suffering finds a path to express itself, and takes shape.

I do not speak as an artist, but as a man who has walked through the night and learned to turn it into light.
I found my peace when I transformed pain into an artistic gesture, when I placed my soul into matter.
In that gesture, suffering became a living presence, and its weight dissolved into freedom.

The Power of Matter tells the story of this inner and creative path of healing, born from a real experience:
the transformation of pain into presence, and of matter into soul.
It is not a manual, but a testimony.
It is the story of an artist who, by touching matter, learned to touch himself, and to find peace through creation.

In these pages, I share what I have come to understand:
that matter is not merely substance, but a language of the soul.
It is the body that welcomes, the earth that heals, the life that allows itself to be shaped.
Every wound can be transformed, every weight can become presence, every person can find their own path to peace.

I am Francesco Scarinci, Italian artist and founder of Matericismo, an artistic and philosophical movement that explores the link between art, matter, and soul.
