After uncovering long hidden secrets atop Mount Aornadur, Eira, Rhys, and Runa discover their journey is far from over-in fact, their true quest is only just beginning.

Tasked by the godlike Inherents to find a woman named Tsukina, who may hold the secret to defeating a powerful group of warmongering mages called the Syrthiaid, the trio set out for the island kingdom of Isa. Their trek quickly goes awry as Isa’s religious elites become too interested in their quest and pull them off of their course. Eira and her friends find new allies as well as new enemies, and manage to sneak their way across the island to finally meet with their quarry.

But reaching Tsukina was only the first step on this new journey. As Eira meets more Sacred mages-both friend and foe-she can’t deny the similarity between her own experiences and those of the Sacreds. With her understanding of her power rapidly growing, she must grapple with her ties to the Sacreds and the consequences of wielding her unique magic.

But Eira has little time for self-doubt. With each passing day, the shockwaves of the war spread further. If Eira and her allies cannot destroy the Syrthiaid, any hope to save the world of Linra from the chaos of bloodshed and war will be lost.

The road to victory is uncertain, winding, and dangerous, and Eira never expected it to lead back to the place where it all started.
