Author Biography
Victoria Salisbury, a retired teacher from the Pacific Northwest, spent about five months working in Antarctica. She was inspired to write and illustrate the book, “The Selfish Skua’s Supper”, based on a real skua she encountered while she was there combined with her love of author Joy Cowley’s book, “Greedy Cat’s Breakfast.” Victoria Salisbury, a retired teacher from the Pacific Northwest, spent about five months working in Antarctica.
