Life can be tough, especially when you’re an avid traveler like Ana. It helps to

have a loyal companion by your side. Scotty the service dog watches over Ana’s

health-and he has plenty to say about their adventures together!

Scotty was born to be a service dog. As a Westy puppy, he was at the top of

his class at the training academy, and when he graduated only a year later, he

began to joyfully help a patient with a heart condition. Sadly, his first patient

passed away, but Scotty soon found a new home with his current best friend,

Ana Rivera.

Ana suffers from arrythmia and hypertension. As a biologist passionate about

nature, it is only with Scotty’s help that she can fulfill her dream of making the

world a better place. Thankfully, Scotty knows just what she needs.

As the pair travels to various locations in South Florida to complete Scotty’s

new patient training (along with Scotty’s playful classmate Bellini), the pair

develop a special bond. Later, they will visit a national park, and archaeological

dig, and places filled with the wonder of nature. As Ana’s inner peace grows, so

does Scotty’s-and now he’s ready to share about all the incredible sights he’s

seen.

The Travels of a Service Dog is the culmination of Ana’s and Scotty’s journeys.
