Igor Fostenko is a Ukrainian entrepreneur, motivational speaker, and founder of the globally recognized brand Enjoy The Wood. His remarkable journey-from orphaned street child to self-made millionaire-has inspired millions around the world.Born into poverty, Igor faced unimaginable hardship from an early age. When his father abandoned the family before Igor turned three, his mother was left to raise him and his sister Katya alone while also caring for a disabled grandmother. By age six, Igor was already helping support the family by gathering strawberries and lilies of the valley to sell at the local market.Tragedy struck when Igor was just eleven-both his mother and grandmother passed away, leaving him and his sister homeless. For the next four years, Igor lived in basements and subway stations, surviving cold winters, hunger, and addiction. He begged for food, hauled goods at markets, and fell into glue sniffing to dull the pain of street life.At fifteen, Igor’s life took a powerful turn when he and Katya were taken in by Mykola, a compassionate mentor who opened his home to homeless children. Under Mykola’s guidance, Igor worked hard during the day, studied in the evenings, and discovered faith and purpose through church on weekends. He supported himself by mowing lawns, shoveling snow, and helping dismantle cars-skills that would later spark his passion for mechanical work.
