Author Biography
Trinity Jagdeo is an author, and nonprofit founder dedicated to creating a world where children and families with disabilities feel seen, celebrated, and included. At just 17 years old, while still in high school, Trinity founded the 501©(3) nonprofit organization We Can’t to We Can after being inspired by her best friend living with Spinal Muscular Atrophy.Through her nonprofit, Trinity has published five children’s books that feature real kids with disabilities as superheroes-stories that empower children to see themselves represented and embraced. Her organization also provides financial aid, resources, and medical equipment to families often denied by insurance, and hosts inclusive events designed to bring joy and belonging to communities often left out.Trinity’s leadership has garnered national recognition, with features in Forbes, Woman’s World Magazine, and The Today Show. She has spoken at Stockton University, New Jersey Rotary clubs, schools, and other organizations, spreading her message of inclusion, resilience, and hope. She has received numerous awards, including the F4Y Humanitarian Award, New Jersey Heartland Hero recognition, and the 30 Under 30 Trendsetter Award.A trailblazer at the intersection of creativity and advocacy, Trinity uses her voice and vision to transform how the world views disability. Whether through books, programs, or speaking engagements, her mission is simple yet powerful: to ensure every child, regardless of ability, experiences joy, representation, and the belief that from “we can’t” to “we can,” anything is possible.
