Author Biography
Dawn Hunter is a retired law enforcement officer who enjoyed a distinguished 30-year career, during which she held various roles, including Patrol and Criminal Investigations. She made history as the first female member of her agency’s special response team and specialized in sensitive cases such as child abuse and domestic violence. With skills in several investigative techniques, Dawn dealt with a range of cases from homicides to fraud. Following her retirement, she shifted her focus to writing, inspired by the imaginative stories she created for herniece Brooke and nephew Cannon. These tales often feature her beloved animals on exciting adventures, aiming to bring joy to young readers and foster a love for storytelling. Through her books, Dawn seeks to inspire creativity and imagination in children everywhere, sharing her passion for storytelling and enriching their literary experiences.
