Author Biography
Reda Elkacmi specializes in Chemical Engineering and earned a doctorate from Hassan II University, Morocco. He is affiliated with the Faculty of Sciences and Techniques, University Sultan Moulay Slimane, Morocco. Dr. Elkacmi’s research focuses on process engineering, modeling, and simulation of industrial operations. His work includes optimizing adsorption processes, studying kinetics, isotherms, and thermodynamics for heavy metal removal from aqueous solutions.
Sudip Chakraborty has a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from University of Calabria, Italy. He is Abilitazione Scientifica Nazionale (ASN) – full professor in sector – ING-IND 24 at the Laboratory of Transport Phenomena and Biotechnology, University of Calabria. He was also a visiting researcher at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. His major fields of interest are membrane separation, plasmonic nanoparticles, composite materials, energy, and process intensification.
Catia Algieri has been a researcher at the Institute on Membrane Technology, National Research Council of Italy (ITMJ-CNR) since 2001. She has collaborated on several international and national projects focused on membrane preparation and characterization for application in water treatment, catalytic reactions, and gas separations. In her research she prepares and characterizes of zeolite membranes for water treatment, catalytic reactions and gas separations as well as mixed matrix membranes for drug controlled release and gas separations.
