The Doss BVB4102SHD video balun is a passive (non-amplified) device that allows the transmission of real-time CCTV HD video signal via Unsheilded Twisted Paired(UTP) cable. It is compatible with all HD-TVI, HD-CVI and AHD analog cameras.
BNC plug of the BVB4102SHD allows connection directly to the camera or DVR. Screw terminals of the BVB4102SHD allows easy connection of UTP cable output. Used in pairs, the BVB4102SHD eliminates costly and bulky coaxial cable.
Which is the best cable to work with?We recommend to use it with Unshielded Twisted Paired (UTP) wiring from 24AWG through 22AWG. Individually shielded pairsshould be avoided as they reduce the operating range of the systems drastically.
